The gentle slope of the roof-line is angled at a 4/12 pitch with an overall height of 10’-12’ at the peak depending on the size of the pergola. The entire pergola is constructed with 100% Western Red Cedar with 4” x 8” headers, 2” x 8” purlins, and 8” x 8” framed posts
Open purlin roof with a 4/12 pitch is standard. Metal roof upgrade encloses the roof to protect people and furnishings from the weather.
Western Red Cedar ages beautifully and is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect damage. Sourced from sustainable managed forests in the US and Canada.
